Tank Service Inc. had the opportunity to provide The New York State Fire Academy with ISO Training Tanks to help train thousands of firefighters and first responders answer various types of emergency calls.
The New York State Fire Academy offers Hazardous Materials Response training with an emphasis on advanced courses dealing with transportation incidents. Hands-on training is a large part of the Hazmat Specialist level courses, and the Fire Academy training grounds include several rail tank cars and DOT specification trailers.
We are proud to have sourced their recently acquired intermodal (ISO) tanks which will be used to train responders on leak mitigation and transfer techniques that can be used in real-world incidents.
